HR 3017, Employment Non-Discrimination Act of 2009: Vandy Beth Glenn

Vandy Beth Glenn was fired from her Georgia state legislative job when she told her supervisor she was transitioning from male to female. She testified at a hearing regarding HR 3017, Employment Non-Discrimination Act of 2009 on September 23, 2009.

    She is brilliant and I posted this to my facebook . She is awesome and the facts are that the majority of us are boring and normal. To fire someone who is doing a good job is an act of hate.

    This is the right direction and people who live on boundaries like Ms Glen teach all of us about humility. These are the kind of people we should be lifting up, not tearing down. Shame on the Georgia Legislature for acting in such a cowardly way.

    Contact your congressmen, make them aware of the importantance of this legislation!!
