Not to digress, but 1000s of soldiers went to Vietnam with rifles that did not work, because someone was a friend and contributor to a high-level Senator or Congressman in Appropriations.

When is your next update? I want to know what has happened to you and to the situation you have brought forth. Thanks much!

Your character is more valuable than a winning powerball ticket or a fat government contract. God bless you sir! I have no doubt you will be successful in what ever path your journey takes you. Thank you for letting people know what’s going on and please keep us updated. You may have saved lives and military secrets by bring this to public attention.

What happens with this guy will be interesting…will another defense company be likely to hire someone like this -who isn’t afraid of losing his job to tattle? I think he’s unemployed now and will have to settle for much less pay as he sets up his whistleblower website. Will he sue? I think Congress should have a whistleblower protection act for contractors – I’m pretty sure the one enacted now is only for government employees.

So you were deemed to be “high maintenance”? This country needs more high maintenance guys like you. Any maintenance costs for your type will no doubt pale in comparison to the costs in national treasure, national security, and even lives that will be incurred without enough courageous Americans like you.

You are doing a fantastic job! You are an inspiration to all of us! Keep going and continue to lead the charge.

Your ethic and bravery is on the endangered list, please have more children , your race needs to be propagated. We need more people like you during sorry state of union at this point of our history.God bless you .

Let me digress a bit further….They are half ass….but things end up getting fixed after they bitch and moan because of people like Michael. People need to be more aware and conscious with concerns to information assurance.

I worked at MOTOWN for 13 years before being terminated during that time around or about 1998 JD Powers amd Associates came through to survey the facility thier finds were telling of things like what happened to we’re to come they stated after interviewing engineering manufacturing and management this: ” The engineering, manufacturing people care more for the company than mangement that score horribly. Many of us work else where now, as integrity is no longer impotant now.

I agree with juice1502 100%. I myself work in the area of certification and accreditation which deals with the security posture, both physical and network/communications. LM and NG are notorious for doing a half ass job with the security end of these kinds of programs. I am glad he came around because now I believe it is time to look at other programs as well.

To Address the Concerns of SadStateofAffairs123 –

We know who you are, so don’t come on here with your attacks on a man who has lost his job over this…and risks even the life of his family, as well as his own.
Take your psyops somewhere else, because we are all hip to it now.
    Thankyou,
    L.

Good job. You are doing a great thing. If only more people had the personal curage you have.

I’ve only now found out about this video as it was mentioned by ABC News again! I never knew the circumstances when you left. Thank you for demonstrating such courage and integrity. Any PM worth his salt should hire you because he/she will know they get the truth and the nation’s best interest up front from you. I sincerely hope the best for you in this effort and in your own endeavours in the future.

Over a 3 year period I went thru evrry chain in Lockheed , thru 3 ethics investigations, to the CEO and the Board of Directors. Then I went to the CG Commandant, the CO of the Boats, Navy, NSA, congress and the senate and the DHS IG.
Deceiptful and malevolent – that would depend on whether I was right or wrong.
On undermining security. Would you rather I stopped before making the video? That way these boats would continue to put the crews, public and other gov’t agencies at risk?

  16. hot4seth says:

Go Mike! You blow thier sorry excuses right out of the water! No pun intended.

  17. juice1502 says:

My kid brother has just enlisted in the USCG and this man’s allegations are decidedly important in my book (and to anyone who has been in harm’s way on behalf of the US). This is not the first case of MIC bull#&% and will certainly not be the last, friend. Take the Fox News logic elsewhere, please. Good day!

  18. juice1502 says:

There are some major logical problems with your statement. If this guy is telling the truth the onus is not on him. This is typical military-industrial complex BS at work. Oh, and before you start, don’t. I was U.S. Army infantry for six years.

  19. sadstateofaffairs123 says:

Mike, if you cared so much about this then why did you not make a bigger stink when you were on the coast guard program. It is a good thing that LM let go such a deceitful and malevolent individual. Do you think anyone would want to hire a person who undermines national security? I can only hope that you and the people you dealt with are brought to justice. Thanks a lot for compromising our national security.
