My comment? Come on, just replay the video. It’s right there, right from the 10th second. It’s not even mine. On a side note, I’m not proud of my culture or people, I’m not proud of something that I’m not responsible for. Just because you’re born in some country (which is purely accident in itself) doesn’t mean you should be proud of it. Nationalism is bullshit. Go on, make any comment about me or my culture, or people, I don’t give a shit.
The comedy wasn’t offensive. I was simply defending against your comment regarding stereotypical Americans. as you may defend yourself if someone makes a poor comment about your people. You may be proud of culture and love your people and if someone says something to put them down I would hope that you would stand up and say that it’s not right and that you yourself are a better person than that.
You don’t need to defend yourself every time you find some comedy offensive.
I’ll tell you my beef. Initially all I did was defend myself as an American in that I don’t fit the stereotype. I feel it is important that I at least speak out among such things. You respomded to me with a personal attack and so I responded in kind. Also, like you, I never go into debt, own a credit card and I live only within my means.
