Cristianne, Ik zette mijn antwoord in het Engels voor anderen.
My oldest daughter also has a disability assistance dog, he transforms her life. I have a hearing dog, a golden retriever, who has recently also been trained to help with my sight problems. Thank goodness for our four legged friends and for inspiration Cristianne. Met vriendelijke groet, Judith xxxxx

You are fortunate to have a dog and a vehicle. The shop where my HMO requires me to have my chair “fixed” so fully botched it that my improperly balanced wheelchair is now my main reason for being declared “homebound.” The poorly functioning chair keeps me from even using the transit bus without fear of taking a tumble.

I spent almost 20 grand on the chair and cannot get a replacement from the HMO for two more years, at least.

I’m from Canada and it’s much the same here. What she said about ramps and just a little bit of extra room is so true! It goes a long way!
