Friday, November 5th, 2010For more information, consult WorkingInCanada.gc.ca and http The Building Futures in Canada web site has been developed by the Canadian Federation for Economic Education in partnership with the Government of Canada to provide assistance to individuals who are considering Canada as a destination, are planning to come to Canada, or have recently arrived in Canada. The project includes video vignettes that profile the stories of 23 formerimmigrants to Canada who talk about why they chose Canada, where they decided to settle, the challenges they faced, the sources of help they received, and so on. Viewing these vignettes will enable you not only to hear the experiences of these individuals but to learn what life is like in various communities across Canada. The information contained in this video is for information purpose only. For up to date labour market information about wages and salaries, you can use WorkinginCanada.gc.ca to produce a detailed report on job descriptions, wages, skill requirements, language training and job opportunities based on your occupation and a location.
