Writer/Director Khoa DO and Writer/Actor Anh DO spoke with The Movie Show Online about their latest film FOOTY LEGENDS. Set in Sydney’s western suburbs, FOOTY LEGENDS is a feel-good comedy with serious socio-political undertones. We follow a group of misfit youth from Yagoona, who are plagued by unemployment and legal trouble. Our central protagonist, Luc (stand-up comedian Anh DO), is threatened with losing custody of his little sister Anne (Lisa SAGGERS). Led by Luc, the misfits form a rag-tag football team to compete for the Holden Cup. They must hold their own against real footy legends Bradley CLYDE, Gary LARSON, Cliff LYONS, Rod WISHART & Brett KENNY (playing themselves).
