He served as an Assistant Secretary of the Treasury in the Reagan Administration earning fame as the “Father of Reaganomics”. He is a former editor and columnist for the Wall Street Journal, Business Week, and Scripps Howard News Service. He is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology and he holds a Ph.D. from the University of Virginia. He was a post-graduate at the University of California, Berkeley, and Oxford University where he was a member of Merton College. In this 4-minute video, we interview my cyclo driver in Nha Trang. Mr Dung worked for the Americans during the Vietnam War. Like other Southern ‘collaborators,’ he was denied opportunities for employment under the new government. Many, like Mr. Dung, had to make a living as a cyclo driver. It’s a hard life, but Mr. Dung kept his sense of humor.
